Animal waste includes a variety of materials originating from farms, slaughterhouses and animal shelters, including animal carcasses, blood, faeces and other biological matter. Failure to properly manage such waste can lead to the spread of diseases, unpleasant odors and environmental pollution. The incineration of animal waste involves a controlled combustion process with a certain amount of oxygen. This exothermic redox reaction provides a high efficiency of 97% and ensures optimum heat and moisture exchange with temperatures of up to 1200°C. These incinerators are made of 8 mm thick steel and lined with refractory concrete and bricks, providing excellent thermal insulation and durability. The primary chamber burns the waste to ash, while the secondary chamber, with a two-second hold time, burns the resulting fumes. Emissions are managed by an advanced system that includes initial cooling using motorised solenoids and then further cooling through a wet scrubber treated with reactive solutions such as caustic soda, lime and urea. This system effectively neutralizes acidic and gaseous pollutants, supported by an automatic pH regulation system.
