RTK - 3600AD Asphalt Distributor is a vehicle-mounted machine designed for efficient road construction and repair operations. It is used to spray bituminous binders, primers, and adhesives in controlled amounts and widths, ensuring the proper application of materials for smooth and durable road surfaces. This advanced machine is equipped with a highly insulated bitumen tank that can hold between 6,000 and 17,000 liters, making it versatile for different road construction needs while adhering to country-specific regulations and vehicle capacity requirements. The bitumen tank is insulated with 50 mm rock wool and protected by a 1 mm aluminum plate, ensuring effective temperature control for bitumen during transport and application. This insulation not only maintains the optimal temperature of the bitumen but also reduces heat loss during longer operational hours, leading to greater efficiency. The diesel-powered heating system includes two high-capacity burners connected to U-type flame tubes, providing rapid and safe heating for the bitumen. With a burner capacity ranging from 190 kW to 310 kW, this system ensures consistent and fast heating even in cold weather conditions, allowing the machine to operate efficiently in various environmental conditions.

For ease of operation, the RTK - 3600AD features a sophisticated control system with both 7” digital control panel in the driver’s cabin and a 2.4” screen on the rear panel. The 7” digital control panel in the driver’s cabin offers a comprehensive and intuitive interface, with PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) and proportional controls that adjust the spray settings to match the vehicle speed, ensuring consistent material application. The rear control panel enables precise adjustments from the rear, offering flexibility and convenience for operators to monitor and manage the spraying operation from multiple angles.

One of the key features of the RTK - 3600AD is its central control unit that incorporates the Can 2.0B communication network. This network reduces the complexity of wiring while enhancing the safety and reliability of the system. The system’s electronic control units and wiring are designed to meet automotive standards, ensuring long-lasting and safe performance even in demanding conditions. The hydraulic system, which powers the bitumen pump, is hydrostatic, maintaining a constant bitumen flow regardless of truck speed. An optional manual control system is also available for situations that require manual adjustments.

The spray bar is equipped with a fully circulating opening system, offering variable spray widths from 3,600 mm to 5,400 mm, depending on the model. This flexibility allows for a variety of spraying applications, whether for narrow or wide surface areas. The spray bar movement is pneumatic for precise control, ensuring an even spread of bitumen across the road surface. Additionally, a hand bar spraying option is included for reaching difficult-to-access areas, such as edges or small patches, further enhancing the machine’s versatility and ease of use.

Maintenance and cleaning are simplified with the self-cleaning filter system, designed to be externally suctioned, ensuring smooth and safe operation of the bitumen pump and bitumen line components. The cleaning tank (with a 70-liter capacity) ensures that any residual bitumen can be safely cleaned out of the system after use, preventing blockages and maintaining the system's performance. The easy filling, circulation, spreading, emptying, and transfer functions are all facilitated by a single pump, making the process of handling bitumen quick and efficient.

The machine also features an automatic control system, allowing a single operator to perform the entire operation safely and efficiently. The automatic controls maintain the correct bitumen flow, even with varying truck speeds, minimizing the risk of over-application or under-application, and enhancing material usage efficiency.
