What is a Cream Spreading Machine

It is used to spread oil creams on wafer layers fully automatically with film or contact. Also, it is used to calibrate the height of wafer layers by making wafer books and spreading wafer layers between wafer sheets. Basically, stress-free cooled wafer layers are fed to the spreading machine with a transverse arrangement.

During the film spreading process, the top layers that will not be creamed are moved directly to the wafer book former on top of the spreading head, and the layers that will be creamed pass from the edge under the spreading head. The spreading process is initiated by photo cells. Cream flows onto the cream spreading roller and is continuously dripped onto the wafer layers by scraping with a scraper blade. During the contact spreading process, the top layer - lowered spreading table - is directly conveyed to the automatic book forming device without touching the spreading roller. After the top layer passes, the spreading table is raised and cream is applied by touching one or more wafer sheets.

The top layer and cream-covered wafer layers are sanded into a wafer book and the height is calibrated by a spiral type book forming device and a pressure roller or a vacuum book forming system.
