Uludağ Machinery enterprise was founded in 1975 by Mustafa Uludağ in the Maltepe district, originally serving as a lathe workshop. The enterprise provided part services to some major companies including the automotive industry in its early years. Starting from the late 1980s, with the increase in industrialization in Turkey and the intense demand for all kinds of industrial products, the need for carpenter hand tools and carpenter tools has also increased significantly. Taking this situation into account, Uludağ quickly entered the tool manufacturing business and turned this product into its main manufacturing product. Our company still continues the production of carpenter tools to this day. Limited Company Transformation The enterprise was moved to a 550 m2 area under the family building in Güzelyalı around 1995, which was planned to operate for a long time. In the same year, with the increasing sales volume and interest in products and brand, a decision was made to establish a company. The ownership and management of the company passed to the second generation brothers Osman and Ömer Uludağ. In 2010, we moved to the modern factory building in Orhanlı where we still operate. Joining Woodworking Machinery Company From the 2000s, in addition to the existing production of carpenter tools (vices), the company started the production of portable bench drilling machines for carpenters. Later, products such as Double Bench Drill, Cavalier Hole Drilling, and Hinge Pocket Opening Machines were added, which are the most important assistants of an independent carpenter for making kitchen cabinets. Dovetail Cutting Machines Since 2005, Dovetail Cutting Machines, widely used in our industry, have been added to the product range of Uludağ Machinery. Furniture Accessories (Import Group) Uludağ Machinery has been importing and distributing hinges, drawer slides, gas pistons, and similar furniture accessories under the Diso brand since 2003. Tools, Hand Tools In our production range, in addition to the above, there are carpentry tools (vices), chipboard carrying irons, aluminum milling balls, and other products.
