Uludağ Machinery was founded by Mustafa Uludağ in Maltepe in 1975, starting its activities as a lathe workshop. Towards the end of the 1980s, parallel to the increasing demand for carpenter hand tools in Turkey, it turned to the production of tools and specialized in this field. In 1995, it became a company and moved to a 550 m² area in Güzelyalı, transferring the management to the second generation brothers Osman and Ömer Uludağ. In 2010, they moved to their modern factory in Orhanlı. Since the 2000s, in addition to carpenter tools, they started producing portable bench drilling machines and other carpenter machines. From 2005 onwards, dovetail cutting machines have been included in the production range. Since 2003, they have been importing and distributing furniture accessories under the Diso brand. In the production range, there are also carpenter tools, chipboard carrying irons, and aluminum milling balls.
