SARMAŞIK MAKİNA A.Ş. started its "bread dough cutting weighing machine" production in a 500 m2 manufacturing area in 1974 and entered the industrial sector, then shortly after, it started production of dough processing machines and prototype bread ovens, rapidly taking its place in the "bread and pastry machine industry" sector. To meet the increasing market demand and product diversification needs, it built one of the most modern factories of its time on an area of 11,000 m2 with a closed area of 4,000 m2. In 1983, the rapid development of our country's integration with the world and the beginning of the globalization process directed SARMAŞIK to make "license and technology cooperation" with leading foreign companies in the sector and opening up, enabling SARMAŞIK to share its technology with both our country and the world industry. SARMAŞIK continued its investments in line with these developments and in 1989, it had a modern factory building built on a 16,000 m2 area in the "Gebze Organized Industrial Zone", equipped its production line with machinery and equipment in accordance with the day's technology. SARMAŞIK, currently continuing its activities in its new factory, is bringing the production of bread, pastry, dessert ovens, and related dough processing machines, including packaging, to a higher technological level day by day with its computer-aided machine production line and quality control systems it uses from project to production, and continues to reach many bread and bakery product manufacturers both domestic and abroad. SARMAŞIK, who wants to be a player in the international market, aims to establish a place in the Middle East and Africa markets with the UAE Dubai office opened in 2009 and reach its target customers.
