What is a Crane?

Cranes are a device which generally eliminates human strength with various materials from the past to the present and is used to lift heavy objects from their place and reduce the concept of working time. Cranes are an invention that assists in carrying loads with a power hoist mechanism that provides motion with gears and a wheel. Although the first invented crane required human power, currently used cranes have eliminated human power with motor gear and wheel systems. Crane, one of the greatest revolutions of mankind, has diversified cranes with the development of technology today and has eliminated the need and necessity for human power.

The operation of cranes can work with approximately vertical motion as well as species that move on multiple axes.

Crane uses Energy and Fuels Hydrolic Electricity and Fuel Energy, as well as materials such as Wire, Rope, and Chain to perform loading, unloading, and lifting functions. Operating Principle of Cranes

The Lifting Crane is the section that carries the load and contains a motor, gear, brake system, and rope connection.

The hook is the part where the load is connected and connected with the rope.

The Weight is the part generally used in Tower cranes and Jib cranes. It ensures that the load is lifted balanced and evenly, thus preventing any accidents.

The Transfer Equipment generally consists of wire rope and chains between the crane and hook. These equipment can be used depending on the weight of the load to be transported.

Almost all Cranes have a hook system. You can lift the load up and down with the hook connection.

The most important issue in Cranes is the weight of the load to be lifted, and the crane system should be set up according to the load. Each crane has its own lifting power. Generally, cranes are set up according to their tonnages.

If the Crane exceeds the maximum weight it will lift and is not capable of carrying heavy loads, serious accidents can occur due to the load falling or the rope it is connected to breaking.
