Dry magnetic drum separators are essential equipment in the iron ore beneficiation process, playing a significant role in our operations. These separators are utilized to separate iron ore from other gangue minerals and are widely preferred across various industries. The process begins with the iron ore feeding from the upper feed bunker to the magnetic drum via a vibratory feeder, initiating the separation operation. The separation of ore and waste from the lower bunker is achieved through a separation valve.
The magnetic field attracts iron-containing particles and accumulates them on the separator drum, while other minerals remain unaffected and follow a separate path. This ensures high efficiency in the iron ore beneficiation process, yielding high-quality iron concentrate. We ensure the magnetic power on the drum surface is tailored to the mineralogical structure of the ore using special arrangement methods with Neodymium and ceramic type magnets in the inner core.
Dry magnetic drum separators are effective and reliable equipment widely used in the mining industry, raw material purification processes, food, and recycling sectors. They can handle particle sizes ranging from +1 mm to -400 mm and are suitable for dry granules.
