Innovative Working Principle

The highlight of our DissoPrep product is the gravimetric working principle without liquid pumps according to the USP method. Mixing and dosing are done with vacuum and pressure through continuous weight measurement.

High vacuum (typically <100mbar) suction with simultaneous filtration, heating, and mixing guarantees a long and efficient degassing process according to the USP method. Continuous, high-precision weight measurement provides the correct standard volume required by the USP for your medium at any desired temperature. Due to the known issue that different media have different densities at different temperatures, only weight measurement ensures the correct standard volume. Additionally, unlike volume measurements with liquid pumps, there is no inaccuracy in foaming media. Thus, foaming medium can be mixed with the same high precision and directly dosed into containers. This working principle guarantees absolute reliability and repeatability in medium preparation and dosing.

Comprehensive Ease of Operation

The DissoPrep X15 ensures that your medium is prepared and dosed reproducibly and extremely accurately, while also providing significant relief in your daily work routine. Compact dimensions allow for use as a desktop device or mobile unit on a laboratory cart for flexible reach to any dissolution tester. More than 100 different stored methods can be retrieved flexibly. Up to 8 liters of dissolution medium is prepared, tempered, mixed, and degassed according to USP, EP, JP, FDA, and GLP/GMP guidelines in about 12 minutes. Since this is entirely self-sufficient, you can perform other activities during this time. You can then dose it directly into the vessels accurately and precisely, and an automatic report is generated for your documentation. An automatic cleaning process then cleans the entire system.

The standard scanner interface for DissoPrep allows quick and easy integration into your IT environment without software installation and makes it much easier to operate with your computer. Instead of extensive entries on the keypad of the DissoPrep, you can alternatively use the convenient and intuitive operation in the browser on your PC (Internet). The management of methods, reports, and users with user permissions can be done quickly. You do not miss the touch screen on the device to start the preparation and dosing. With the optional "CFR Package," 21 CFR part 11 compliant use of DissoPrep is possible, and the optional "Backup Package" allows automatic backup of your data.
