Argema manufactures CNC glass drilling machines required for single and serial drilling operations on glass. The first indigenous CNC glass drilling machine in Turkey was produced by Argema in 2007 and exhibited at the Istanbul CNR Glass and Window Fair in 2009. Since then, Argema has been designing CNC glass drilling machines for the country's leading companies and continuously improving its services.

Argema classifies its production of CNC glass machines into manual loading and line production machines. In both classes, the number of drilling heads and the size of the worktable are determined according to customer needs. In multi-head CNC drilling machines, the drilling heads can be positioned independently to drill glass simultaneously. Argema is the sole producer in Turkey with this feature.

The first of the carrier robots rotates the glass referenced on the reference table by 90 degrees and places it on the suction drilling table. The other robot carries the drilled glass to the final conveyor. With this system, it is possible to drill holes on glass panes with a width of 80 mm simultaneously. The carrier vacuum suction robots operate asynchronously. This concept is the first application of its kind in the world.

• Independently operating head groups position themselves simultaneously for each hole distributed on the glass. Thus, no time is wasted for holes not aligned in the y and x axes.

• The minimum distance between two holes is 130 mm.

• The maximum glass size is 1000 mm in length and 600 mm in width. The minimum glass size is 80 mm in width and 300 mm in length.

• X, Y, Z axis motors and spindle motors are driven by servo motors.

• The carrier robot's axis movement and positioning speed is 2 m/s, and the drilling head positioning speed is 1 m/s. The carrier robot's movement for the x-axis is driven by a servo motor, while the y and z axes are pneumatically driven.

• The maximum hole diameter is 40 mm (can vary according to customer request).

• The minimum glass thickness is 4 mm, and the maximum glass thickness is 10 mm.

• The machine consists of a front conveyor, suction worktable, rear conveyor, drilling head, body, and two robotic carrier parts.
