Moving facade platforms are systems used in construction, buildings, chimneys, shipyards, etc., for tasks such as painting, insulation, and maintenance/repair work.
These systems operate on steel masts mounted on the facade using anchoring arms, with electric motors moving the scaffolding system.
These platforms are modular systems that can extend up to 10.5 meters in width with a single mast and up to 30 meters with a double mast. With the standard materials used, these platforms can reach heights of up to 150 meters.
The system is powered by two electric motors with gear reducers, which transmit movement through pinion gears to the rack gears mounted vertically on the masts. To ensure safe descent and ascent, electromagnetic brakes are installed on each motor.
Additionally, the system features a parachute brake system. In case the descent speed exceeds the set limit, the centrifugal force automatically activates the parachute brake, halting the system.

Usage and Construction Features

• The 3K MP platform can be installed with a single mast for widths of up to 10.5 meters and with double masts for widths of up to 30 meters. The moving platforms of this width can reach a height of up to 150 meters. The maximum load capacity, according to the recommended loading guidelines in the user manual, is 2000 kg.

• The masts (columns/posts) and platform wings of the 3K MP are coated using the hot-dip galvanizing method for corrosion resistance.

• To minimize sway and ensure rigid load distribution, the mast is designed to be grasped at four points. This design ensures stability, meaning the mast retains its shape and doesn't deform under load (in engineering terms, "rigid" refers to a system that does not change shape when forces or moments are applied).

• Quality profiles, based on strength calculations, are used in the manufacture of the 3K MP mast support legs.

• For ease of installation, the 3K MP is mounted on four caster wheels.

• The platform has telescopic extensions for easy access to the facade. These extensions can extend and retract.

• The 3K MP panel includes a working hour meter, and maintenance is carried out according to the schedule outlined in the maintenance manual.
