Shaft and Bearings:
BETALFA Jaw Crushers are equipped with an eccentric shaft made of precision-machined, hot-forged, and heat-treated Cr-Si-Mn-Mo SAE 4140 (42Cr, Mo4) steel. The high eccentricity value on the pitman shaft ensures effective downward movement of material beneath the jaw. Round, self-aligning cylindrical and flat-hole pitman bearings, along with conical hole body bearings, maximize the power to the pitman shaft and extend maintenance intervals.
