For non-ferrous metal separation applications, Eddy Current Separator;
Recovery of non-ferrous metals is the economic basis of any recycling system. Our Eddy Current Separators with eccentric pole system best meet this requirement. At the same time, they are at the forefront with their high traction volumes and durability. After various processes such as shredding, crushing, grading and magnetic separation, our Eddy Current Separators facilitate the recovery of clean, non-ferrous metal mixtures containing aluminum, copper, zinc or brass.
In its basic construction, an Eddy Current Separator consists of a short tape extension driven at the feed end. There is a fast-rotating permanent magnet system in the discharge head pulley. As it rotates, this pole system generates high-frequency, alternating magnetic fields. This causes strong eddy currents in conductive non-ferrous metal parts. These materials create their own magnetic fields in opposition to external fields. Non-ferrous parts are diverted from the remaining material flow due to the force impulse. The eccentric rotor system developed by MT guarantees the highest efficiency, i.e., optimum separation and long-lasting operation.
Overall, Eddy Current Separator models are quite flexible. Aluminum Separator, Eddy Current Magnetic Separator etc. it can be used in many different recycling applications such as.
Eddy Current Separator advantages;
The magnetic pole system, eccentrically located on the head pulley of Eddy Current Separators, concentrates the material exactly in the area where the greatest force impact is experienced. It is located at the discharge point of the
conveyor belt. The fact that the pole system is adjustable allows this position to be optimally configured according to the available feed material. So much so that the discharge affects the parabola to the greatest possible extent, thus intensifying the force effect.
In concentric pole systems, the influence of the magnetic field usually starts too early, i.e., the non-ferrous particles leave the magnetic field too early and are therefore poorly oriented. On the other hand, the eccentric pole system ensures that the effect of the magnetic field is greatest only at the moment of separation and that no field is created at other points of the conveyor drum. Ferrous metals no longer adhere to these areas of the head pulley, minimizing wear on the belt and drum shell. This is an important difference for the concentric system.
Eddy Current Separator designed for continuous operation;
In our Eddy Current Separators, we achieve outstanding separation results by using neodymium-iron-boron magnets, a thin conveyor belt and an electrically non-conductive drum shell made of composite fiber materials. These provide maximum field strength and therefore precise, efficient classification. At MT we offer excellent, cost-effective Eddy Current Separator solutions for your needs.
